Ultriva has an add-on module that facilitates the suppliers, who are collaborating with their customers through Ultriva, to directly interface the replenishment transactions in to their ERP/MRP business systems. This module will facilitate the Supplier’s IT to set up this transactional interface.
Currently, the suppliers perform the functions and receive data manually through the web.
The following flow diagram describes how the close loop Kanban works between the customer and supplier in the Ultriva application.
Ultriva with the new module can send the receipt information as an EDI 861 file through FTP.
The formats for these files will be the standard EDI formats supported by Ultriva. Any changes to the file format will involve additional charges. Supplier’s IT department can take these EDI files and automate the transaction entries from/to their ERP systems.
